This historical site is located in Dega Shara, Gamo Zone, around Arba Minch, and is a historical site where the local community can access various services. Among them are the traditional mourning ceremony of “Bale”; the “Sufe” (a place where a bride and groom officially announce their marriage to the local community after getting married and interact with the community); and the traditional mediation/reconciliation ceremony. However, elders explain that it is a wonderful place where most of the local community has moved to the Kolau area in search of a better life.
